My First Trip to St.Marteen

My first trip to St. Marteen started out with my mom, my dad, my sister Naila, my sister Assata and I getting off a big ship called a cruise! I took a little boat to a Tiki Hut where you could go snorkeling. I sat in a 4 feet deep pool that was really part of the ocean. I had to learn how to put the gear on for snorkeling. When I got in I started out in the 4 feet deep part. But then I followed my mom into the big ocean and put my mouth in the water. Then I put my whole face into the water! My mom said that I was doing better then her! Then my mom said she felt a sting. We got cold and my mom went to the doctors on the ship. My mom and I went inside and the doctors looked at it and said that it was fine and that it was just a jellyfish sting! When my family wanted to go to the beach we did! When I saw the beach I started colleting seashells right away! Then I laid down on the wet sand, and when a big wave came it almost pulled me in the water, but I held on to the wet sand! When I got out I was all yellow with sand! Then my mom came and saw a boy that was good at swimming. My mom called the boy Michael. When we got tired we all went back to the ship and had a great time! THE END!

Soap Box Derby

In 2009 my older sister raced Soap Box Derby but I was too young. I watched her race and I wanted to do it too. That year she won and went to the world championships in Akron, Ohio. And it was a lot of fun in Ohio.
The year after that my sister and I both raced. And I was very scared. My first run down of practice day I hit some of the ties on the side of the track and the next run was ok. The next day it was the real thing. I had a butterfly stomach and was afraid. I waited until it was my turn and I went down that track thinking that I would lose and be done. But no I won and at the bottom of the track my mom and dad hugged me. Then I had to switch wheels with the person. Then you have to race them again and who ever got the better time won. But I was…Too Fast For Him and won. I went on to the next round. I won 3 more times and then it was the final run. There was a lot of pressure. I got in my car and went down and won. Me and my sister both won that year and we went to Akron, Ohio. A couple months later it was a week before the championships and we had to drop off the cars at the track in Ohio. So my dad and I drove there a week before and dropped the cars off. Then we got back on the road. My dad asked me how far we wanted to drive back and we drove a few hours and then we stopped at a rest area with a food court. We brought a mattress and sleeping bags and watched a movie. Then we had to go to bed. The next morning we finished the movie. We got back on the road and drove home.
A week later we went to Akron, Ohio with my sister, Ally. She is in super stock and I am in stock. Stock has more of a pointed nose. Super stock has more of a rounded nose so it gives you older kids room for their feet. Next year my sister might do the Masters Division which is a whole different division of a car for even older kids. We stopped at a lot of rest stops and when we got there we found our hotel and we brought our stuff up to our room. After that we hung out and talked to peole. Then we went out to dinner at a nice diner and the food was really good. Then we went in the car and left. Then we went to the hotel and we swam in the pool for a while. And then the hot tub. It felt so good. When I left I went on an exercise bike in the exercise room near the pool. Then I had to go back up to our room and brush my teeth and I read a little from a book and watched TV. And then went to bed. The next morning we got up early and got breakfast to go. Then you have to wait in a long line and trade buttons. After you wait long enough you get to the end. They give only the racers a big necklace that’s very soft. It says that you are a racer and if you build your car right and if you got a V.I.P. A V.I.P. means you build your car right if you do not get one then I guess it’s better luck next time. Then you wait in one spot until they call your number once they do some drivers drive you down to a big space. Everybody gets a turn and you get to get up on a stage and sign your name of a big board. Then they have a form and it says stuff about you. While they read that you get tothrow stuff out to a big crowd of racers like candy, mini toys, goody bags, etc… After doing that for a while you get off stage and catch things or go in the Acorn Aroses Stadium and get a form that says what is wrong with your car only if you don’t get a V.I.P. Then you can get pizza and a brownie. After that you have to find a bag with your name and it has shampoo, car polishing stuff, a watch, soap box derby shirts, and certificate. Then we went through the week doing lots of activities everyday. Then it was practice day and you have to wake up really early. And wait in a line for a while then you go down. I was told to go to the outside, but I accidentally went to the inside. But at least I did my very best and didn’t hit something then you can go we let and went to lunch with some people and then went to hang out in the hotel room and then went to a diner for dinner. The food was great. We left and went to bed early so we could get up early on the next day (Race Day). We got up early and had to get weighed. Then we wait inside a barn because it was raining and the track was wet but it was not that bad. After a while I had to wait in a long line and I was very, very scared to race. I went down and … WON!! It was so cool and I won three times including that one I was in the top 20 or 30. I don’t care that I lost I just care that I did my best and it was a lot of fun. After the race we went to a ceremony and had to say my name and where I live. After that we went to dinner at a nice restaurant. Then picked up our car and that’s the sotry of my year of Soap Box Derby!

Carving a Jack o Lantern

In first grade we carved jack o lanterns the week before Halloween. First we cut off the top and scooped out the seeds. Then I drew a face on my pumpkin and my mom cut it out with a knife. When everyone was done we threw our seeds in the trash. After we threw out the seeds we weighed our pumpkins. Mine used to be 5 pounds but now it was 4 pounds. Then we lined our pumpkins up lightest to heviest. Finally we ate snacks. I ate 2 cookies and a cup of lemonade. After I ate my snack my mom took my jack o lantern home. I had a great time!

Swimming With a Dolphin

One day when we were on vacation in Florida we decided to go swimming with a dolphin. So the next day we went to go swimming with a dolphin. There were lots of people there and four dolphin trainers. The trainers split us up into four groups so that there was one dolphin trainer for each group. There were also four dolphins for each group. My mom and me were going to swim with a dolphin. When I got in the water it was really cold. But when I was in the water for a few minutes it was okay. The trainer said that our group dolphin was the biggest dolphin they had. First the trainer said that we could get in a line if we wanted to pet the dolphin. Next the trainer said that we will go a little deeper in the water. After we were in deeper water the trainer told us how to get the dolphin to sound like instruments. Then the trainer let us feed the dolphin. The dolphin ate fish. Finally the trainer said that all the dolphins from each group will jump out of the water and we will be able to spot our group dolphin. So when I saw all the dolphins jump out of the water I could spot our group dolphin. Then the trainer said that we will go back to shore. But we wouldn’t swim to shore. We would ride the dolphin to shore! So when it was my turn to ride the dolphin to shore the trainer said to hold on to the dolphin’s fin and let him pull me to shore. It was so much fun and the dolphin was fast! Then when I got out of the water we got to take a picture of the dolphin. There was also a place to hold and feed birds. There was a place to swim with stingrays too. First we got to feed birds and then we swam with stingrays. After that it was time to go back to our hotel. It was a super fun day.

Setting Off a Rocket

One day I went to my friend Chris’s house and they were going swimming at his grandma’s house. After we swam for a little bit we went in a field and set off a rocket we set off the rocket a lot of times we each got a turn to set it off. When Danny set it off it went into the woods. We all went to find it then finally we found it. Then we set it off more and this time it went nose first on the concrete it was broke. But we still set it off but when we did it almost hit Chris’s mom and then we stopped setting it off. I had a lot of fun.

On Sacandaga Lake

One sunny day I was on our dock having fun doing the Apple Sauce Jig. We have a camp up on Sacandaga Lake. And I was on a dock because I made the Apple Sauce Jig to be on our dock. Once I was standing on the dock with my brother next to me who was about to jump off and Dad catch him. I was having so much fun I didn’t know my Mom took the picture. When my mom did take the picture, somebody was Water Skiing on the other side of the Lake. One year I forgot how to do the Apple Sauce Jig. When I knew how to do the Apple Sauce Jig, it was fun. I wish I remembered how to do the Apple Sauce Jig. When I made the Apple Sauce Jig I was about five years old. THE END

Sledding in the Winter

When I woke up it was really cold outside and I had cheerios for breakfast. It was very snowy outside and I went outside in the backyard and played in the snow. Then I went to the shed to go get the sled to go sledding. Then my sister came outside to come sledding with me. The 5th time I went down the hill my sister pushed me and I fell off. It was really fun how I fell off because we put a big jump in and I went flying off! Then I went inside and played a game called SpineWorld with my sister and helped her do the things you need to do. Then we had pasta for dinner. After dinner I went on xbox360 and it was really fun! But then I had to go to bed. Before I went to bed I read for a couple minutes and then I went to bed.

My Softball Game

My softball game was fun. I have lots of friends at softball. I got a few hits but it was still fun. I wore a green t-shirt. And some white pants. I had a nice friend. Her name is Cade. I hit my leg when I was catcher. The bat and ball and it hurt a lot. My best friend Rachel helped me she went to get a ice pack. Rachel is very funny. When I went home I watched my favorite tv show called iCarly. Then I fell asleep my dog Brody jumped on my bed but I was still asleep.

Apple Picking

My family and me went to an apple orchard and picked 50 apples. Then went home and made an apple pie with are 50 apple we ate all of it. Then played with my friend Chris and his brother for one hour. ME ABOUT TO SWIM AT VORHEESVILLE POOL

One day I woke up and did the stuff I usually do on mornings. Then I choose my bathing suit. It had red and pink cherry’s on it. After that I went to swim At Vorheesville pool. At 12 swim would start. I got there at 11.58.Then at 12:00 the swim instructor’s came out. I wailed to mine. His name is MIKE and I’m in level 5. So I started my lesson. Before I got in the water I put on my swim cap and goggles. Then I went in the water and made a big splash. Then I started swimming laps. My instructor tolled me to do a 75 back stroke. I was so good I ended with 150 front crawl. When I was done my instrutor gave me a high five. I gave him a high five back. Then I said bye. He said bye back to me. When I got home I had lunch. Then I played out side for a little bit. In a little while I went to open swim. My mom said I did good. Then I had to go home. When I got home I went to bed and dreamt about all the fun I had at swim today. The end.

When I was in Florida

When I was in Florida like my picture holding a boogie board but it wasn’t mine it was my cousins speaking about my cousins I'll tell you their names and where they live. Ok first texes. Some of my cousins live in texas. Their names are Taylor and Christian. And from Virginia they are Phillip Haley and Blake. And the things I did in Florida I stayed in a really cool house across from my cousens. After 5 days I went to the beach. After boogie boarding I went on a big big big water slide like 3 times as big as the school. But the part I hated about is if you fall you could die and there was stone at the bottom. The next day I went fishing but we didn’t catch anything. The next day we had to leave and it was the worse plane ride ever my ears popped!! Then we got home. But I'm going back in 2010 THE END!!

The Maid of the Mist Boat Ride

One day I went to Niagara Falls. The waterfalls were really cool. We saw both sides the Canadian side and the American side. The Canadian side was better. Then I went to the Maid Of The mist boat. On are way walking there they took our picture. When we got on the Maid Of The Mist some of the water looked like root beer. They told us a story about a boy who got stuck in one of the waterfalls! I felt bad for the boy who did. The waterfalls made mist fall on us. Thats why we where wearing blue ponchos. After the Maid Of The Mist boat ride we went to a restaurant on a tower. There food was really really good! After we were on are way home.

Sacandaga Lake

One sunny day me and my friend were jumping on two tubes. We were at Sacandaga Lake we did it for a while. Then we played in the sand. After we played in the sand. We went for a quick swim in the lake. The water was cold but it felt good because it was hot outside. Then we went on trails on the island. There were lots of trees and tree branches but the branches were hanging over the trails. It was easy to follow because I had been on them before. Then the trail wrapped around the swamp and came out on the beach. Finally we got on the boat and we went back to the camp.

My Soccer Game

One day I had a soccer game at Dicaprio Park. The game started at 10:00 I think. Sometimes I like to keep score. This game was a tie. I forgot the scores but I still remember that it was a tie. The Kickin’ Slab

I fished a tournament and won the grand prize for the raffle. It was a four hour fishing trip with Ed Newman. It was on the Hudson river. We had Bella Napoli for breakfeast. Ed had a 23 foot long deck boat and a 200 horsepower mercury out board motor. I was wearing a vertical shirt and baseball cap. I wore a big old fashion big orange vest. I had a feeling I was going to catch a big fish. We met at at a bait store. We loaded up the boat and went to the boat launch. We started fishing my Dziadzi got a big rock bass and quick. Then my dad got a bite he set the hook and handed my the pole. It got caught on the motor. I still got him it was a 11 and a half inch black crappie. I got a couple more bass 8 to 14 inches. Then I hooked into a monster. I reeled it in it was a baby twenty plus inch pike. He had sharp teeth. I released him. The fishing slowed down. Then “bam” I set the hook and started reeling in. It took me a little while to get her to the boat but I got her to the boat. It was a kicken slab. It was a trophy fish. It was about a twenty plus incher at least a 4 and a half pounder. It was a largemouth bass. It was a heavy bass. It was a female because it was soo fat and long. It had such a big mouth. I could have put both of my fists in her mouth and I did. I kissed her and set her free. We fished a little more and I got more fish. Then we drove back to the boat launch. I had a AMAZING time.

When I Went Camping With My Friends

One sunny day I went camping with my friend’s they were the Friguletto’s and the Donohue’s and my family the Tietjen’s. When we got there we on packed everything. Then we found my friend’s at the water park and I went down one of the water slide’s. Then we went back to the site and road are bike’s. And brian my brother road into a tree it hurt a lot. After that me and Michael had a skid contest what we did is we skid down a rock hill and I won the contest. After that we ate dinner we watch a movie it was star wars the clone wars. Then we went to bed.
